Think I head somewhere that Saba frames were built by Viner? top quality anyway. half tempted but I really don't need another bike. Good luck!

I remember seeing them in WF Holdsworth's shop in Lower Putney Road back in the 1970s...looked very good quality frames.

what was wrong with the geometry?
is this 27 or 700c wheels? -
• #8
What do you mean? It takes 700c wheels.
Maybe it's just the angle of the pictures that's making it look odd to you?

I had one of these in the eighties.
It has Columbus SL tubing and a cinelli cast bracket shell.
I heard it was made by Viner as well. -

Dibbed for collection on Monday
SABA Road Frame and Forks
Top Tube 57cm (ctc)
Seat Tube 57cm (ctc) (58.5cm ctt)
27.2mm seatpost
From Hilary Stone "Saba were in the 1970s and early 1980s the British importers of Columbus tubing and Omas parts and they commissioned their own top quality frames in Italy which they branded as Saba"
*Important Information: *I built this up to find I didn't get on too well with the geometry, and switched frames soon after. Unfortunately, I'm very sorry to say, in using a cheap band-on mech hanger which kept slipping, I stupidly over tightened it leaving an unsightly pinch on the seat tube (see pics below). It'll be out of sight when built up though. In view of this I'll knock 50 quid off what I got it for. How's that?
Comes with Saba Headset and Omas BB
Collection preferred from Southwark
