Given the two threaded inserts under the 'stem', you could probably make a really nice permanent mount for a light, but the Pro computer bracket isn't it.
That's an idea but sounds like hard work. There is also a mount, similar to the lockblock but that would fit on the stem but would mean no computer and no up / down adjustment of the light. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gun-Velcro-Torch-Laser-Mount-Bracket-Cycle-Helmet-/160495617904?_trksid=p5197.m7&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D5%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D4462753522982264899http://rover.ebay.com/roverimp/1/710-53481-19255-0/1?ff3=2&pub=5574889051&toolid=10001&campid=5336527178&customid=&item=160495617904&mpt=3100134 All I need to make the lockblock work is a longer velcro fixing strap. The one with the above item may do the trick.
