ah guys. I'm sorry I missed yet another TNRC night out but I ended upbeing whisked away for an autumn break by the other half. Looked like a brilliant night out and I cant wait to get started again next spring.
Needless to say by then I'll have purchased suitable illumination and I've finally grabbed myself a garmin for backup on some of those routes I'm less-than-ofé with (nod to Jonny).
If anyone fancies a Sunday jaunt over five hills or the rumble on a decent morning give me a shout!

Without the structured discussion of a fortnightly ride to keep us on topic, this thread will soon succumb the the social entropy that is LFGSS.
Close it now before the chevrons arrive

Fear not! The ladies of LFGSS are nicking TNRC routes for our rides. Feel free to come and input/discuss over >>>>>>>>>>
Oh. Sorry. This is what you were talking about, eh? :(

Sad but exciting times Claus. You will be missed. Best wishes and all that.
Any idea of your route on Sunday? I could try to hook up with the ride on the lower fringes of London.

Nice route! Sadly I have to be a good boy and go to my girlfriend's friend's place for a roast. But will try to get out for a quick blast from West Wickham and then head home.

Missed too many Tuesdays this year. I know there is no way to make up for it but I am organizing a ride this coming Sunday to wave my good bye to the Islands black top and white cliffs. Would be delighted to see some of you join. Details on the otheR forum.
Here the route
be sad to see you go claus. pm'd.

Der Start um Mitternacht ist mittlerweile sein Prinzip.

great riding with you on Sunday claus. was only planning on doing 50 miles are so but that route was such a joy and was a beautiful day to be out on the bike i had to get the 80 or so in.
i think that route could make it on to the deluxe roster for next year.
sorry i didn't get a chance to say cheerio on the train, it made sense we all spread out.
good luck on Friday and look forward to hearing about some rollapaluza adventures from that side.
Berlin have gained a classy rider.

thanks jonny for coming along all the way.
as I mentioned i forgot to point out the view we could have had overlooking Cuckmere Haven.this will certainly make for a great deluxe destination especially since clintsomker is always keen on trying out these places mentioned in the Wild Swimming guide. This is one of them but I can only say be prepared for a surprise.
Will follow this thread from a distance next year. -

Cuckmere Haven is lovely and you could pretty much use one of the Brighton routes and peel off just before the south downs. Not a whole lot when you get there tho, breakfast might have to be caught, killed and cooked on the beach.

Plan A: gaffer tape disposable bbq to saddle pack, we all carry our own meat and nibble on burn't sausage on the beach
Plan B: take trangia and tins of beans, sit on beach and recreate famous scene from blazing saddles
Plan C: wet the bed and stay at home
If anybody finds themselves suffering TNRC-withdrawal, this coming Tuesday, there will be a few forum people at the Cambria from about 7pm. Ok, so there's no actual ride, but there is all the curry you can eat, for a tenner.
