Running in the snow is a lot easier than cycling in the snow.
I have these for trail running and they were awesome in last years snow, they work best in the fresher less compacted stuff and were still a bit slippy on large patches of ice but broadly speaking I thought they were ace. During the snow I tried to get off road as much as possible and it was an absolute joy - some of the best running I've ever done (christmas day was particularly amazing). I remember going running when the whole country seemed to close down and running down the middle of roads through towns as cars were stuck or crawling at a snails pace. Fantastic stuff.
