ok so I've ridden a grand total of 9 miles tops on my brompton so far and already I've noticed something.
Everytime I slow down to wait rather than filtering down the left side of traffic because it's either blocked or there's a good chance the traffic ahead is going to turn left/hug the kerb in the next 30yds some cockmunch will try to overtake me through the single width space for a bike to the left of traffic. 4 times it's happened so far, twice the twats more or less took out my front wheel by cutting in through a non-existent gap. Is it something psychological when people see a brompton that they assume it'll be slow and they on a full bike are therefore faster and indeed superior or maybe because it's smaller they assume it's easier/more acceptable to push past?
