I am measuring the full rim diameter at 582. I get that the BSD has to be smaller than the rim so the tyre can grip onto the rim but a 11mm difference is quite a large amount? If I didn't damage the inner tube when fitting and pumped it up I would never have been able to repair the tube if I got a puncture on the road.
