Nah, subs can't work like that.
To give people reasonable chance to get their games played, subs can only be used towards the end (probably March/April time) and from a set point. Also, subs can only be 'same group' so in this case, we'd need an 'a' player to sub for andy. LJ will be 1st choice 'a-sub' but he can't really take the place of a b or c player.
