2011-11-18 - Rider Down, Kings Cross

Chap on floor right in the middle of the crossroads outside KX last night at 1730.

Looks like he'd come out of Pancras Rd and had a collision with a cab.

He was propped on his elbows talking and it looked like he'd hurt his legs, not suprisingly.

He had people in attendance and an ambulance was on the scene quickly.

What suprised me though was the total lack of consideration and self importance shown by all the other drivers at the junction who carried on at the same speed cutting past the ambulance and the poor chap in the road. One cab decided to squeeze between the accident and the ambulance leaving a foot or so either side.

Some people are so important.

Anyway, hope your legs fix up quick fella and it doesn't put you off.

Fuckin hell. I'm constantly bewildered by rider down threads. How does it keep happening?

There is no part of that bit of road that is safe. I'm surprised there aren't more car accidents there too. Heal up fast whoever you are.

Its horrendous driving around there as well, just a big free for all.
