this is the fault of the olympics people / crossrail people and the mayor of newham.
i told them it was not right to close the greenway and they said it was ok because they had a diversion in place.
i said it was along a pavement.
they said it was ok because the mayor of newham had said it was ok.
i said the mayor of newham did not have powers to order or authorise cyclists to ride on the pavement.
they ignored me.
the mayor of newham is not coming out of this very well at all.
