looks like the old Chater Lea lugs you'd get on French bikes. Very nice.

You say you paid £40 and then ask for £60 - which is it?
-
• #4
Nervex lugs I think?

Do you know if its French BB and odd seatpost sizing that they sometimes have??
-
• #8
no idea on the BB, probably I should have checked that before posting...
the correct seatpost appears to be from 25.4 to 26.2 [measure tape, no long rizlas at home], 26.8 is too big for the tube. -

Nervex lugs and judging by the cable guides and stops probably a 1960's build.....pity the rear dropouts are pressed steel rather than forged but stil very good value at £40.00

sold, thanks.
So I got this frame off ebay for 40 quid, attracted by gorgeous lugwork and nice geometry.
But since then I havent got around to build it up, and having no funds atm means I have to let it go.
seat tube ctt - 56cm
top tube ctc - 56cm
60 quid, just what I've paid for it. described as "vintage french bike frame", and being very light - 90% its 531 steel, confirmed by my LBS. No rust, everything well greased.
Good for a beater, polo, or restoration project. note, with that kind of paintwork you dont need hi-vis!
pickup from angel N1
cheers :)
