interesting - i wonder if it is a particular weakness they have then.

i was thinking along the same lines re patching with a bit from cheap shorts -

I think it's when I stop for lights and I lean back agains the end of my saddle - that's the place that normally goes. No hole as such but a window to my arse.

Doesn't do it on any other shorts.
