My uni had a whole bunch of them and personally found they kept miss scannning (odd lines and mis aligned) and were slow as hell. Big ass hasselblad thing that had magnetic neg masks was my favourite scanner, quick, quiet and quality was out of this world, things were rumoured to cost £10k+ when new though, so would expect it to be all of those things :)
You mean those nikon 9000's are actually good?
