In all seriousness: Last year I was asked by a friend to sell something for him on ebay, Sheriff stars NOS.
I know the hubs didn't cost him more than a couple of hundred of quid,....the hubset sold for £830.

What to think of this? Well..., well fucking done for him. I wish they were mine 'cause I would have sold them too.
The funny bit is that they were listed at 0.99 NO RESERVE.
Things are worth what people are prepared to pay for it.
