This may not be the right place for this but I was struck recently by the fact that the RAF have ceased flying their Red Arrows after two pilots were killed in unrelated accidents pending enquiries into the deaths so that steps can be taken to ensure that the risk of future deaths is minimised.
TfL are still allowing lorries around dangerous junctions after two deaths have been caused by them in a month. Are cyclists' lives less important or valuable than display pilots?
