I might be able to help out. I live in Pompey but will be coming to london next fri or sunday. I could manage coming to london via brighton, so long as the bike seller can meet me at brighton station or london road station.

hmm.. thing is the seller is quite an elderly gentleman.. think it might have to be picked up from his house.

www.shiply.com is surprisingly simple and cheap. You say what and where then couriers bid by email to get the job. Premise being that someone will be doing a run from a to b in a week or so anyway and has room on their van. I had a massive piece of furniture brought 200 miles for £27 the other day, mint!

I need to come up to London from Brighton to pick up a bike of mine soon. Was considering doing it this week, either one evening or next Saturday. Could easily bring yours with me on the way up.

Pleasure
hello.
hoping someone can help me out..
recently bought a bike for my wife in Brighton from ebay.. well, outskirts of Brighton really.. near their old football stadium..
anyway the bike's all paid for and just needs collecting. thing is i'm doing teacher training at the moment and it's ridiculously intense and there's just no way i'm gonna have time to get down there in the forseeable future..
so, long shot but.. is there any saintly person who'd be able to help out with getting the bike to london? cash offered of course.
as i say it's for my wife.. we were looking for a nice mixte frame in her size for ages. she'd probably also bake you a cake if you were able to help out :-)
cheers!
