the bolts are there, they are just inside the stem, accessed with an allen key, the front bolt is recessed in the bit leading to the bars and when tightened pushes forward a plate clamping your bars between it and the front of the 'hole where your bars go', and the bit that goes in your frame has an expander bolt. these work really well, same design and 600dx
