  • Glad I didn't just develop two rolls of film in fixer! Oh wait, yes I did. AAAAAAAAAAAAARGH

:*( Done a similar thing before, but my fault, got jugs of chem the wrong way round :s

Can anyone reccomend a supplier for 120 B&W film, need lots, iso100-400. I like Tmax but its all getting a bit pricey now (3.50+ a roll, more than 50p a shot!! more for 6x9). My 120 & 120 folder collection is growing rather rapidly and need more cheap film so I can use them more often.
I remember EFKE or something like that (from CZ?) used to make decent enough 120 film for cheaps? Anyone know where I can get some, or something else like it?

Just picked up (like the above) an Ensign 820 Selfix 'Special' (6x6 & 6x9 + RF) with Epsilion shutter + Ross Xpress 105/3.8 lens. Tis in minty fresh nick with a whole pile of high quality push on filters and lens hood.
Last week found an Agfa Isolette III (6x6) with the sought after 75/3.5 Soligo? lens and I thought that was nice, but this Ensign totally mops the floor with it, size, weight, build quality (and probably value).

Internet searching seems to suggest the epic huge Ross 105/3.8 Xpress lens isn't the sharpest, but the rest is nice. Think they were trying to build a camera equiv quality to the German (IKONZeiss) and Swedish (voigtlander) competitors, and they certainly suceeded. Fit and finish is exceptional.

Hence I need LOADS of cheap 120 film, need to shoot shoot shoot these beasts :D
