I got the audiobook. Have to say I was a little disappointed - not that many laugh out loud moments. Coogan seems to have adopted a more 'reflective' Partridge voice for the audio which I'm not sure works - kind of like he was going through the motions. Having said that the moments that truly did make me laugh made me spit my coffee out.

I just finished 'Wolf Hall'. Absolutely fantastic book - totally captures Thomas Cromwell as a political animal. Superbly written, really endowing Cromwell with a moral core and estabilshing a very vivid sense of the duality of ruthless ambition set against a humanist nature. Would recommend to anyone interested in politics, history, religion or just a great read. I'd been reading the CJ Sansom 'Shardlake' books so this tied in nicely.

I'm now returning to 'Infinite Jest' by David Foster Wallace to see if I can get more into it this time round. I've got a feeling that I need to be able to read it with less distractions though.
