I've seen the regular marathons down to £18 somewhere online.
M. Plus is just a folding version, right?If anyone is after a 700x38c Marathon (reflective strip + smartguard)..
I have one surplus now - it's done <50 miles, £6 or 6 cans. -

Anyone got other recommendations apart from the marathon pluses?
I am eating through one of them fast. The marathon supreme I had on lasted a lot longer.
But I am open to suggestions to try something else... -

They were the stock tyres when I bought my new bike. Didnt think they were that dear.
Good tyre though. I might put my front one on my back wheel now.I got some cheap M+'s this evening so they'll also do me for a bit anyway.

What 26" tyres would people say are good for polo?
Schwalbe Marathon Plus are good for skidding but also heavy.
Anyone have recommendations of grippy tyres?
If people could post their experiences with tyres then that'd be great. Make it a lot easier for us out in the sticks to draw on the city knowledge

i buy whatever has the biggest reduction at chain reaction cycles, got some mammoth WTB Graffiti SF Tyres last time, i think they're made for slick rock but worked ace on the court.

and marathons have no grip at all. I like conti's but have marathons at mo on the back, came off my bike last night just turning a corner.
Schwalbe marathon plus... is this the cheapest?
