Ive never seen em but theyll almost definetely be standard mass produced bearings. Just read off the number on the side and check a bearing shop (theres loads on ebay)

Can't be much help, I'm afraid, but I do have a set of those rollers. So when you find out - please post the answer here. :)

Will do. I'm going to disassemble them this weekend, so I'll let you know.
It's really too bad they build them with such horrendous bearings. Mine went after a few months of occasional use.

I got around to popping out the bearings. Annoyingly, the bearing part number is not on the shield as with most bearings, but around the outer face.
The bearings are SKF 6200 2Z/C3 bearings.
Basically any 6200 (bearing dimensions) C3 (clearance) will work. The 2Z just means they have two metal shields. I had been hoping to get some better ones, but I actually couldn't find a set of 'premium' bearings in that size.

I need to replace the bearings on my Tacx Antares rollers as I have the rattling noise problem (after hardly any use).
Has anyone done this - how did you get the bearings out?

Junoface,
check the bearing housing carefully for small cracks in the plastic around the bearings.
We bought a batch of these rollers and some of the sprinters ( 80kg + ) had a problem with them being very noisy after very little use and it turned out that the problem was the bearing housing cracking, the bearings were fine at least until the alignment of the roller bearings was well out then they got rough pretty quickly .
Have you got the receipt ?

Thanks Allister,
I managed to get the rollers off, and I've inspected the plastic housing races but I can't see any cracks - I'm only 70Kg and probably don't have the power output of your sprinters!
There is some more discussion about the issue here:
http://forum.tacx.com/viewtopic.php?t=14561&sid=c060186cde3b040e9930410a781e01caIt seems the bearings might be slipping out of the housing to cause the rattling noise (which I guess would be more likely to happen if the housing was cracked).
I'm not sure exactly what is happening with mine but there seems to be a bit of play in the bearings on so I will try ordering some new ones. Fingers crossed that'll sort it.
Unfortunately I bought the rollers on eBay so have no warranty, To be fair the guy I'd bought them off didn't appear tot have used them at all, and the issue only appeared after a few months for me.
Hi Everyone,
The bearings in the front roller on my Tacx Ecotrack rollers have failed. Now I get a low rumbling noise whenever I ride.
Has anyone replaced the bearings on a set of Tacx rollers? Before I go and start pulling out the bearings I'd like to find out if anyone knows what kind of bearings these rollers use.
Thanks!
