  • gonna name my bike "the mule"

nice... and a damn sight snappier than 'narco tourist'

  • thanks guys!

    any idea on frame/fork weight?

frame: 1750-2000g (depending on size), fork 800g

  • So are you selling these?
Any more info if so, and a price?

(not for me before you start TS)

    So are derailleurs de rigueur?

  • price is starting from 490€ for raw frame and fork. add a couple of euros for different options on powdercoating

  • very interested in the max power frames...

  • lovely frame max. makes me tempted.

  • Two questions:

    1. what reasonabley priced 22.2m flat bars are there out there

    2. Are 36h wheels strong enough if running 26", why do people not run 48h for the extra strenght?

    Word.

  • hey Tim
anyone know where i can get some cheap flay bars with 31.8mm clamp?

  • We can flay other players now? Nice one.

  • 36h wheels are plenty strong enough for 26". Anyone using 48h on 26" is just stuck in the 700c mindset.

  • Or they don't want balls going through their wheels.

I'm either going 48h 26" or putting a disc on my 36, I hate discs.

  • 1x for the lose.

  • 3x 48h ftw

  • for tricycles?

  • More cross for the lose.

  • Well that really cleared that up.

  • Or they don't want balls going through their wheels.

I'm either going 48h 26" or putting a disc on my 36, I hate discs.

Do you hate discs for polo or because of having to ride to the court?

Who was using fabric wheel covers? Why not just have netting that will stop the ball? Save weight, basically stops the problem with side wind...

  • Cut a load of 1 inch holes in the cover and it should give you a decent balance between ball stoppage and wind trouble.

Or man up and learn to steer :-p

  • Riding to the courts with a disc is a bitch. It can get a little sketchy at times so I cut a hole in the centre which made it better but can still pull out to the middle of a lane if you don't watch it

  • because of the additional weight, 48 spokes take around 10% more energy to be accellerated just as fast as a comparable 36h wheelset...

  • i have so many sheets of corex that are being thrown away at the set i am working on. If someone with a van wants to get it, I'm in taplow Bucks. Its thinner than estate signs and lighter.

  • I bet hooks don't have 48h wheels, that's why they're so fast.

  • what maximum said is right.
