I wondered what happened to you. Sounds like you need to check the rim for pointy things. Good to hear you're home safe

it was the tyre. the bead or something. only got the last train to Cheltenham by about 30 seconds as well. will make sure i bring 3 spare tubes next time, oh, and a track bike. think i also went the wrong way. because i saw alot more people riding out of bath than the amount of people that overtook me on route.

I thought that was fantastic. Muchos gracias to oz. for showing me around at the beginning and to george sportif for getting me out of bristol in one piece, and to everyone else there for being so generally nice and welcoming to a weird-looking out of towner. was a choice route, well ridden by everyone I saw. gutted I missed that final turn and lost out on podium, but I'll get over it eventually...
prizes were quality too!
overall, yay! see you next year :) -

Unlucky 6pt. You will know for next year.
Cheers for the kind words miro_o and will and hopefully see you next year.I will get some Photos up on the website soon.
i had a interesting time. Tyre went bang on the train to Bristol, Tyre went bang on the way into bath, the lovely people on queen square helped me fix it, rode out to the edge of bath and went bang again. a nice 12 mile flat Tire ride/walk, back to Bristol. nearly missed the last train back to Cheltenham. and even got a rocket fired at me in some dodgy part of Bristol by gangstas. over all a good afternoon. came last though. but at least i have some form of excuse. was shocked to see how 'interestingly' alot of the riders rided out of Bristol, including me. but good fun. will do it again next year, with better tyres. and next time finish early enough to claim a t-shirt.
