@ Bill - don't start thinking Arteta is great just because he scored against west brom today. It's a sign that Arsenal are not the team they used to be that they only scored three against the shittest team in the league at the moment.
I was being ironic, in the hope of getting a rise from Pisti. A fail.
Judgement of the current Arsenal team should be reserved until the end of the season. Currently unbeaten in last 7, with 6 wins, so that's enough to be going on with.
We've done alright since the Blackburn game, the defence is getting a little less leaky, and I think our attacking play has been pretty decent. If we can win the Dortmund home game, meaning that we can send a 2nd string to Olympiacos (sp?), giving the 1st team a rest, I think we should be alright up until Xmas. Apart from the CL games, our only real test before against the big 3/4/5/6 is City away on Dec 18th.
There's the Carling Cup home to City, but who knows what team we'll put out for that? I would say it would be better to play Ox, Coq, Pong etc plus the dog muncher & Yoss etc than a full strength side.
