  • hope you get back to full strength soon. maybe you were just missing bruges and shower fun with markyboy, its the only explanation.

    yes kuba hurry up!

  • Ok, and we discussed the next ride... Next spring probably
Marky suggested this should be 3 days rather than 2, so the day in the middle is stress free with catching ferries... We all agreed this was the way to do it.

Now it means we woudl use ferry rather than eurotunnel, as the price we got for eurotunnel (£28 return) is a 48 hour return promotion price, on 3 days it would be as per the ferry I think, and I believe a majority of people prefer the ferry (more convivial / confortable, etc)

Now where do we go? ideas? Please throw your thoughts!

    Preliminary list:

    1- CoppiThat (BMW)
    2- MarkyBoy (Ducati)
    3- Blue Quinn (Triumph)
    4- Kuba (Triumph)
    5- veLLo (Suzuki)
    6- keira knightley (Ducati)
    7- ...
    8- ...

  • Paris?
    Amsterdam?
    Rheims?

  • Let's ask Keira. I'll go wherever she wants me to.

    R1 Yamaha

    SL1000 Falco Aprilia

    RSV1000 Aprilia

    Vespa 50

  • Where's this spring ride heading for? How about Lille or Bruges, could be fun and not the ordinary also not millions of miles but a good run. I did about 200 miles on the Kat at the weekend and ended up with a numb foot for about 2 days. Bloody cheap Yoshimura rearsets ;)

The Kat's going to be in a feature again on Nov 17th in Practical Sportsbikes, second article this year, such a media strumpet she is :)

  • LOL

They aren t my motorbikes, only Vespa 50 :) If u wanna find very nice days come in Sardinia (ITA)

    racing rearsets :D

Maybe not Bruges again, and think as well that we should do in on 3 days so we could go a bit further than Lille...

Please put pics of the Katana again!

  • Good God, Gerald! what has happened to you?

Joel, you should join us, you'd really enjoy it. Plenty of time to plan, but my vote would be Portsmouth-Le Havre again, and head west to the coast, but further than last time.

With planning, Gerald could probably make sure he turned up on time, renewed his passport, brought his passport with him, brought his ticket details with him,, left his after-shave at home, caught the ferry and didn't look like a Christmas tree...

Oh twist my arm then! Lol:

Mark that sounds like a great idea. I will of course be a cripple after 3 days on those rearsets. I bet the last trip was brilliant fun. Gerald's Hi-Vis vest alone must have made it 'special'!

  • that high viz won friends in brugge and brought smiles to many faces in the queue for the train :-)

trousers with lights down the sides would be well cool.

bluequinn maybe you are right, ogilvy wouldn't do high viz. i will think long and hard before doing it again.
i was going to be leather clad but loic said rain was a certainty.

must get passport renewal form tommorow.
