Seen these in the flesh, and although not as prestigious as other brands, the frames are pretty toight, with some nice features.
and £100 shy of your budget.

I've been looking at that one. They're sold out atm, but tf are making another batch I believe.

Ah I heard they were having another batch done, didn't realise they were out of stock already. Have they got a lead time?

Not sure tbh.
I'm leaning towards the brother steel frame ATM. Very similar deal, but available now, and I prefer the decals etc.

I thought they shot themselves in the foot choosing that name. S1 and S2 both look like good frames reasonably priced, but the "Tokyo Fixed" sticker makes them sound like a Unipack style cash in.

What size are you? I know you're talking new but pistoffski has a couple of real nice track frames. I know which I'd go for.
All I can say for the Tokyo fixed frames is they look a lot classier in the flesh. Decals are inoffensive....

Both are tasty.... woodrups is down the road from me, great reputation as frame builders. And the white frame is pretty sweet.

The Woodrup is nice, but the second hand price is basically the same as the TF SC2 for the same tubing (altho without a headset).
IMO £450 is a difficult price point - I do get that it's comfortable one. I can't help but feel you're better sticking closer to £300, and/or going second hand. If you're after a lugged steal frame with a 1" headset in a half decent tube set, then I think they're all going to be much of a muchness. So it really comes down to personal preferences, like tyre clearance, colour, geometry.
If you go up to the +£600 mark I think you'll start seeing a difference.

...and probably a couple more. Although I understand if these are not the style you're after.

I'm about 6-1... so a 59cm I guess.
I use a front brake, so it's got to have a drilled fork (I don't want to go through the hassle/risk of doing this myself).
Also, the brother and s2 are both clearly designed to be usable on the road. I think that a true track frame would be too harsh a ride.
At £600 I'd probably worry about it getting trashed too much.

at £600 you better start thinking about custom made!

^ they are out of stock untill early next year
So I've had my 56cm raleigh conversion for a while now. It's too small, heavy and has pretty nasty geometry.
I've spent far more on components (1" threaded headset, JIS bb, JIS cranks, 700c wheelset, etc) than I have on the frame. Ideally I'd like to just chuck them onto a new one.
I've got around £450 to spend, and would prefer something new.
Any thoughts?
