The Hackney Bicycle Film Society shows films about bikes what else?

We call ourselves Hackney because that is where we hail from but because we are internationalists, cyclists and believe in no borders we show the films in Central London.

If you would like to come and see one of our shows you need to become a member. Membership is free but you need to supply us with your home address, email and occupation to : hbfs2011@gmail.com

The show this month is the documentary Prague Caravan which will be proceeded by a talk by bicycle frame builder Matt Wilkinson who has just returned from the US and will talk about frame builders over there.

I missed that^ til today, but yes, it was really excellent. I really enjoyed the film of 'Harry Potter' welding the Brompton BB assembly. It'd be good to see this at LFGSS film night. I'll mention this to Shinigami actually. i spotted harry potter at something recently and wanted to tell him so but I was aware I'm a bit intense about these things and let him be!

Any news on upcoming screenings? I don't 'do' facebook.

Good for you not doing Facebook it is a pain in the arse, I mainly do it for keeping up with my European chums but it is useful for posting events.
