Well I for one went on Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Came away with a pair of handlebars that I didn't need but you know what it's like wth these things.
They've set up a useful directory of handmade bike web sites here http://www.thmbd.com/The_Handmade_Bicycle_Directory.html

hmm i was hoping for a bit more description, was it busy? were there innovative things?

It was busy, but small. I am glad I got there before 12 as it got pretty cramped. Good to see UK frmaebuilders in one room and some interesting stuff. KCNC's stand was pretty awesome. Seeing all their shiny bits in one place - But tbh not worth the 3 hour drive.....

Next year they should name it The Chris King Headset Show with assorted bikes.

^too true, too true^

Not all of them had CK headsets. KCNC didn't. Neither did Brother Cycles. Tokyo Fixed had DA fixtures and fittings.

It was a very good show for us, we met loads of nice people all with a common interest of nice, well built British(mostly) bikes made by small independent builders like ourselves. The positive comments we have received just makes me even more keen to build bikes.
There was some great stuff on show from other builders, a few that have only been going a couple of years some of the stuff there has inspired me no end! Great for us builders to have a natter too about a genuine love of a common interest.
My bike (below) was second in the Public vote for best bike, so I am over the moon, thanks to everyone that voted and everyone that came and made it a great event.

^Good show, Sir!

That bike is sex. Stood by it for a good 15 mins checking it out. It is true that KCNC did not have CK products - would have been pretty weird if they did...

Lovely bikes (and headsets) everywhere. My favourite stand was The Bicycle Academy. Fantastic idea.
I really hope it all gets off the ground. -

I went on the Sunday and enjoyed the show. It was really busy! There was plenty to see, but I managed to get around a couple of times in a few hours.

I was actually very impressed with the show - yes it was fairly small - but it was only £5 entry (or 2.50 with the 2 for 1 vouchers). The quality of work on show and the approachability/friendlyness of the exhibitors was top notch - a really good atmosphere - so much so that I went back again on sunday for another look round. The weather on sunday was horrendous so I was pleased to see a really good turnout again.
All in all it bodes VERY well for next years event as the organisers have proof that they can put on a good show and therefore attract more exhibitors.

I'm going to this in June, and wondered if any one else wanted to join me.
If there's enough wanting to go we can hire a coach
