T'was a good night with good shoes and good burgers.
I won an award, it will be framed and put along side my cycling proficiency certificate. Both contain spelling mistakes, (teachers >>>>>>>).
Well done to JayGeesus, best rider 2011 but the biggest shout goes to Tim and Johnny for doing the cat herding that is organising the TNRC. -

Got home in Leyton in one piece. Wowzas! shoes, certificates, nappies, burgers......truly epic night about to be repped in photographic form (when I can work out how to use the mobile phone of the year)
until then accept the news that is Ludwig deservedly owning most improved rider, and Jaygee coming home as 'Son of God'. It may seem unfair but eyewitness accounts of the 'Brixton Shroud' will more than back this up.
Ok ,tomorrow I'm supposed to be acting head or something? night y'all! -
• #4665
Thanks to all for a great evening full of laughter!
Roll on TNRC 2012.

I had a fantastic night last night, being awarded most disruptive passenger 2011 made my night.
Although I was given the "good dad" award I'd prefer to think I collected it on behalf of all those dads (and mums) who are better than me and who stayed in last night.
Shoots: do you want half a pack of pampers? Also: Clint: Those shoes. :)

Bloody brilliant night all, as one would expect from the legend that is TNRC. I feel truly honored to have witnessed the unveiling of a newly discovered religious icon. pulls suitably reverential face
And may I hijack this thread to invite all you good folks to a party on 10 December this very year to join me in celebrating my 40th birthday. Will pm deets to those who are In.
(reverential? is that correct??)
-
• #4670
Reverential is correct. I'm used to pulling that face in Jaygesus' presence.

i fucking love a boardroom style setting.
that was a perfect way to remember another brilliant season and celebrate the awesome riders/company that have made it such.
some notable absentees last night but great to sup and talk brilliant shit with the beautiful people that were there.
tim will publish the full list of awards in due course, including those who couldn't be there last night.
big thanks y'all

Day-Moe and his winnings
I have the boring work shirt I have been wearing all day, not posh and a bit pongy.
I will couple it up with a tank top and my (so far) lucky cufflinks.
These will be complimented by scruffy shoes, odd socks and a mid burger bout of flatulence.
