So without wanting to be the bearer of bad news, there's engineering work between Brighton and Haywards Heath on the 13th : (

I'm sure plenty of people are more than capable of cycling from Brighton to Haywards Heath but good to give people a heads up, eh?

Thanks for the heads up, I know that one time, southern provided a bus just for cyclists. There is no reason why the shouldn't so this might be a possibility.
