Just pop it straight in the machine at 30 degrees. Once it's washed if you have a tumble dryer put it in there on a low heat setting, or somewhere warm to dry.
The heat helps to remelt the DWR (durable water repellant) coating into an even layer & it should then be as good as new with the water beading straight off.
