For Sale: Specialized Epic carbon/alloy frame and fork

For sale i have this Specialized Epic Frame and Fork

ST:58c-c
TT:57c-c

Frame is in good condition.
Some scratches in the clear coat but nice over all.
It's is made from carbon fibre with alloy lugs.
Rear drop outs are 130mm.

NOW 145£.

what are the forks made out of?

Not seen one of these before, really nice looking frame!

@ mackmoose: they are alloy forks like the vitus ones.

What year was it made?

i'm not sure about the exact year but it's should be late 80ies.
these were some of the first carbon frames made...

have you had this set up single speed or do the vertical dropouts mean gears only?

Hey, Harrong, I got the Calipers out and I think mine is 26.4. I'll have another look tomorrow though.
Seat tube outer diameter is 31.8.

very pretty, just too large for my solid little body! (by solid, i mean short and fat!)

I had one of these new in the early 90's - I even have a cross section of the lugs that I 'borrowed' from the Specialized rep at the time! It's a beauty - thsi one's just too big for me though, but it's got the memories going... :)

Either way, these frames are lovely!

What length is the head tube and is it 1 inch or 1 1/8 inch?
If the head tube is roughly 150mm long and 1 inch then I'm very interested.
Also, would you do a discount for just the frame without the fork?

Yo nice frame, i don't like to many specialised but that is cool.
