I did indeed have a very สุขสันต์วันเกิด, as Katie-Coo puts it .living the 'birthday dream' with a croissant-filled daytime and a darned-good hob nob with party people in the evening.
I've not been in the habit of celebrating birthdays and my hardened heart came over all mushy from this thread: think Ebeneezer Scrooge's thawing cynicysm in A Christmas Carol. With Grasy Slag as Timmy Cratchet, obviously.
@ Zed, Not sure the banana holder will be my accessory of choice in 2012!
