Sorry the Gazelle has gone.
Claud Butler has gone to ebay now too.
Hi,
I have 3 road frames for sale. All are available for collection from Newington Green, N1 or I can post at cost.
Major Nichols Road Frame - c.1977, Reynolds 531 - SOLD Pending Payment
Seat Tube: 58cm
Top Tube: 56cm
Rear Spacing: 122mm
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
The paintwork is suffering with marks and large areas of rust spots but it's fully original, with the intricate tri-colour lug-lining that Major Nichols was famous for. Although the paint isn't in the best order, considering how rare these are it would be a great shame not to keep this original. The frame is straight and true with no dents of dings.

Gazelle 'Champion Mondial' A-Frame - c.1979, Reynolds 531 - PRICE DROP: £130
Seat Tube: 56cm
Top Tube: 55cm
Rear Spacing: 126mm
Seatpost size: 27.0mm
Again, the paintwork is suffering in places, mainly just around the cable braze-ons around the rusty areas. It's a shame because the colour scheme is wonderful. If you can see past the terrible touch-ups it's a lovely frame. Apart from the cosmetic blemishes it's a sound frame with no dents or dings.

Claud Butler Road Frame - Prob late late 70s/early 80s, Reynolds 531 - PRICE DROP £70 - Includes Headset & Sugino BB
Seat Tube: 58cm
Top Tube: 58cm
Rear Spacing: 122mm
Seatpost size: 26.4mm
Not a bad frame, especially for a cheap conversion, with horizontal dropouts and some of the braze-ons have been removed. The paintwork is very good apart from the areas where braze-ons have been removed. The 531 sticker on the fork would date it to late 70s/Early 80s. The frame itself doesn't have a 531 sticker, and if it is 531 then it must be straight guage considering the 26.4mm seat tube.
