it appears to a dangerous spot that.
there was a pedestrian killed by a bus driver et al at that spot about 18 months ago.
hope your girlfriend makes a good recovery and you manage to trace the driver.
hit and run is a really bad crime i think. usually a sign of a non compliant driver.
