Yes, I had lots of fun during 2 days.
Except for the long breaks (Friday 3 hours). Those crashes on Saturday.....
The Dutch team has something to think about and to work on.
But I think the British team has something to work out as well (despite the loads of medals). -

Were you there?
The Dutch were consistent i thought...GB are starting to ping ;-)))
the Apeldoorn track is pretty dodgy

Yes, I've been there the whole day on Friday and Saturday.
What's wrong with the track? I've nothing to compare with (except the former concrete track in Apeldoorn), but in my experience, there's nothing wrong, except that the very spot in the corner, where the Russian and Belarus sprint girls crashed, is always very slippery. The dutch are consistent in that way that they almost never play a serious role.
As long as exceptional racers like Marianne Vos don't take part.
Some lucky medals once in every xxx years: Oosterbosch, Peelen, Bos, Mulder. -

wasn't it 7 from 10 golds?
i guess the other 3 medals is "something to work out" -

Well, enough jerseys and medals, but not as dominant as before.
Instead of 2 or 3 GB riders per discipline, now only one (who was still able to take the gold).
But, same goes for the French I think.
IMO a good event for the eastern European: Russian, Belarus, Ukraine.
Also the German are getting better. -

We didn't medal the Madison, Team sprint and individual sprints.
Team Sprint (men) Cant really measure against that as the gate malfunction issue. My guess we wouldve medalled
Individual sprint, Sirue is flying, although having Sir Chris in the loop wouldve changed things. Vicky is still building and a nice ride by Shulika to win although Panarina is probaly the best atm.
The track....Is well known for being quite slow with very slight transitions (compared to others) and it was slippy..Guys wheel spinning of starts etc.
That said Apeldoorn is a great place..

Anyone has plans to come over to NL to visit the European Championships?
Oct. 21, 22, 23.
Apeldoorn, same venue and the Worlds earlier this year.
Tickets can be purchased online now.
I'll be there for 1 or 2 days, I guess.
