I know I could buy one, but to save meself £8 and get my bike sorted asap, just wondered if anyone nearby could lend me one for all of 3 minutes.

In all fairness, £8 is a good investment, there's nothing better than having the right tools to fix certain part without needing to borrow or go to a bike shop.

Totally agree. Yet I'm impatient, skint, and sick of spending money on public transport.

I've got one (Old St), but the notchy bits are pretty fucked. If you're very careful about keeping the tool properly seated whilst wrenching, it still works AFAIK.

I have one, but I'm south of the river. If you have no other luck you're welcome to borrow it.

Also looking to borrow one of these please... I'd buy if I had a new BB with that fitting but I'm looking to get rid of an old FAG.

I also need to get one of these off a frame - it's an old chorus bb in good condition, but I'm fitting a Royce instead and don't have any further use for the Campy BB or tool so would like to borrow it for a few minutes. The best thing would be if that someone with the tool also needed a chorus BB so they could keep it after removal.

You may well be able to get away with using a lockring spanner on the Veloce BB

Tried that but the slots are too curvy and it just slides off. Would like to use the correct tool so as not to damage the BB as someone would probably like to have it undamaged

OH yeah. I can do, on my way home.
Anyone near Hackney with a Veloce BB tool I could borrow? It's the tool to fit this one.
