In case someone shouts: Yes, they will hit and scrub against the wheel (but if carefully placed, only when you slam into a pothole). But it doesn't impair it's function: keep of more or less the muck.
Best of all, it takes less than 10 seconds to mount them, so no rattling on dry days...
They aren't the best, since the area around the BB will be dirty as fuck, your feet soaking, but it still pays off having them. And they aren't costly either. :-)
And I stand my point: Still no need for eyelets on the 'roller. Further up the thread p-clips have been mentioned if the need persists...
P.S. The one above will only accept tyres up to 25mm. Have ordered the 40mm variant to see how it will fit into the frame with some nice big tyres..
