  • Anyhow, update.
    I'm losing weight steadily at the moment.
    Nothing special in particular. Gym 4 mornings on 1 morning off, climbing twice a week, epic hikes on weekends, and eating sensibly and studying till it hurts (meaning no snacking!)

    Also, just signed up to a weight loss/ muscle burning study at the hospital which involves a fair bit of controlled excercise for the next 6 months.
    Its to test L-Carnitine, for those who care, and its of course double blind- 1/3 on flavoured water, 1/3 on carbs, and 1/3 on carbs + L-Carnitine.

    So I'll be getting a couple of muscle biopsies and DEXA scans and shit like that, depending on passing the medical on Wednesday... Fingers crossed- I could do with the training and the money it would provide (and its all cycling- win!)
