• Have you got the funding from Y Combinator? It looks like an awesome model for VC investment.

    Not yet, we have a late application in and only 3% of applicants are successful.

    However, the question was asked: "What if YCombinator doesn't fund you?".

    To which my answer was, "Their loss, I believe that the idea is good enough to work and work well, it's already making some money... not enough to pay a wage but it could be if it could grow to cover other communities. So I'd do it anyway and already was doing so part-time, only the timetable would've changed by going full-time.".

    Which made me realise I'm doing it anyway. This is a problem I already experience, an itch I've got to scratch. YCombinator or any outside investment can make this work much much faster, but I believe that it works anyway and so I should try anyway.
