Blimey. Since when was the grubby old 600 you pulled off your Dad's racer worth £200?

Well,it's 200 euro's so it's a bit less than £200,still a bit pricey though especially since the hubs+pedals+headset are ex and not arabesque group so not really a groupset exactly...

I am actually a little bit tempted...

It's pretty foxed. I think E160 would be more like it. Those levers are very scratched, the crank arms have seen thousands of miles and the hubs look tatty.

My partial apologies,headset and hubs are arabesque,i was under the mistaken impression that the uniglide cassette came after the freewheel hubs but apparently not.The pedals are PD6207 which arrived in '84 and are part of the next generation 600ex,not arabesque.
I shall now go away and remove my foot from my mouth:)

Ok apologies accepted.

I never said the pedals are arabesque as is for the seatpost and bar stem as they never made these in arebesque style.

The pedals are however period correct as i have info that the pedals for instance where introduced in '82 so from '82 to 84' it was period correct to use these pedals on a arabesque group as it run thru '84.They where never made or introduced as arabesque pedals.

For the rest the group is as complete as one can desire.

my housemate is after cranks, and possibly pedals. i undestand that that's the main course though so it kinda fudges the the whole set.

Hubs are v.hard to get hold of, not particularly worth a lot (compared to other 70s/80s groups) but they are very hard to find. I looked for so long (6month) that I gave up and went for campag instead!

pants... I had a pair of original AX hubs built up with Mavic sprints, no one interested so I gave 'em to a mate :(

I prefer to sell the brakes with the levers as a set.
