• There are plenty of examples of tlf not considering cyclists when designing new road layouts.
My commute takes me down New Bond Street, over that silly half cycle lane/half tourist photograph opportunity that links Old Bond Street. There are extensive works at the junction with Picadilly and St. James Street where tfl could easily have introduced a cycle lane to allow us to turn right into Picadilly from the junction of Old Bond St and then left in St. James Street. But did they? No. Forcing me to bunny hop the central reservation, swerve onto the pavement where all the pedestrians are crossing on a green light and then rejoin the traffic at the top of St. James. It's just inexcusable why they did not introduce a cyclist lane here
