sweet, I reckon if we can just get them the right length they should more or less just slot in behind the posts, wedge some small bits of wood behind to keep them tight and maybe drill a couple of holes and get some heavy duty zip ties to keep it all in place, won't be completely flush all the way along but would stop the ball getting stuck, worst that would happen would be a slight change in angle when it hits the post
