when measuring bib shorts, length is far more important than waist size because they don't have any waistband, or indeed any sort of measurable waist as they stretch open as they move upwards and are ultimately held up by the shoulders (that's sort of the point).
so if you get a pair that are too short they'll be sliding up your leg and compressing your thigh too high (uncomfortable). get it too long and they'll be sitting on your knee joint. if the length's right, dibs them.
