Seen them live a few times. Great times
Ian Brown has improved alot since going solo.

I saw them 3 or 4 times too. I love them still but think they were more of a studio band than a live band.
I'd still go and see them again mind.

Saw 'em at Spike Island - it were alright.

Saw them twice, they were great. Not sure if them getting together is a good idea. Clearly thinking of the cash.

Hope Ian B sticks to his guns, personally. I hate encores.
Comebacks are like drum solos. Shit.

Not necessarily true, both Pixies and The Specials have reformed in the last few years for live gigs if not new material. They've both been great and given people who didn't see them originally a chance to do so.
The Stone Roses were always wank live.

don't tell a Mancunian the stone roses were over-rated
it's like arguing Beatles all over again

I'll disagree. Musically wank, possibly, but two of the best gigs I've ever been to. The atmosphere at both was tremendous.

Correct, as Andy W says it was all about atmosphere. An atmosphere created by a load of professional mancunian wankers (90% of any Stone Roses audience would've been made up by people from Salford and Ireland).

Pints of wine at Spike Island.

They better bring Cressa......it won't be a reunion without Cressa. Anyway, I'm in - full on rose tints - don't care, was always about the vibe, I'm gonna chuck a cheeky half down me neck and make like it's 1989.....

Going to see The Specials in a couple weeks. Can't wait.
Just been told by Rob da Bank that the Stone Roses are reforming for a summer tour
Can anyone confirm this or is robby lying?
