You were right to get involved.
These people are complete cunts.
However the police clearly can't be bothered with this case.
It's up to you if you want to take it further.
You could complain etc... but I guess it will depend on how much you can be bothered yourself.
Is there another witness that wasn't involved?
Otherwise it's going to be your word against those cunts.
