It's silly, but I had a really cheap shit seatpost before...and it was shit at holding the position.
My beater's got a carbon one but with this style:
It doesn't have proper adjustablility, where as the thomson-like 2-bolt systems seem to work well. So for that reason I'm weary of anything with only one bolt.
