Happy birthday Dale!
Hope alls going well with healing up & expecting!
The Behike's a good looking cigar though. Never graduated beyond the Siglos as it had planted firmly in my mind that Cohibas were consistently overated (and flashy). -

Thanks, John!
The Behike looks good for such a mammoth cigar, I will give it that. The construction was among the best I've experienced among Cuban cigars. If they keep that standard high it could be worth it for an occasion. The band is awful though. It looks like Fidel went to Tron and is the biggest reason I just smoked it at home.

I also like the look of the Maduro, its been a while since I have bought a luxury single smoke, I think I might have to splurge on a Maduro Genios

At the moment I'm running a competition, where for every 10 likes my facebook page gets I'm adding a cigar to the prize....the winner will be one of the people who have clicked like, chosen completely randomly by a third party or using an online random number generator.

At the moment, there's not a lot to like. It's only about 10 random pics of cigars...
Did you take the photos? Are you planning on doing more with the page?
-
• #1257
Yeh, only occasionally have I done anything with the FB page...I'll be adding a lot more content in the future.
No ones forcing you to like it though, the chance of winning free cigars I thought was enough....
Eventually there will be more images, as well as some reviews on there but some of these are already present on the actual web page....but again a lot more to come.

Lacking fortitude for hypothermia that usually follows a cigar outside in winter

Off to Tunisia next weekend, packing more cigars than clothes.

Señora Berta Corzo Thorpe has worked in the cigar industry for over 28 years and has achieved the highest grade within the Cuban classification system. This means she is able to roll any vitola (size) within the Habanos portfolio. She currently holds the prestigious position of Head o f Quality Control at El Laguito (the Cohiba factory), where she has been for the past eight years.

My old man has been bought some cigars as a gift, but we're ignorant about them. He's got a single Cohiba Siglo VI, and a box containing some 'handmade Honduran classics'; a Punch (Rare Corojo Double Corona), a Sancho Panza (Cabellero) and an Excalibur (Prensado Oscuro). No idea if all of that information is relevant.
Any good, or lungbusters?

Not sure about the Hondurans but the rest are high quality, I have enjoyed the Punch & Cohiba before.
I think you have over £60 worth of cigars there. -
• #1273
Thanks. We both smoke cigarettes but are clueless about cigars, but I'm sure we'll have a try of them.
-

The Siglo VI is Cuban, the others are Honduran and Dominican blends. Not sure on the Honduran classics, but I have smoked the others years ago. The Excalibur is actually quite mild and the Sancho Panzas are a bit more medium. Out of those non-Cuban ones, I believe the Punch is the strongest with the corojo leaf.
They'll be good cigars. Enjoy!

Looking forward to it, cheers.
So yesterday was my birthday and I decided to use it as an occasion to smoke something out of the ordinary rotation. I had a Cohiba Behike 54 and an Upmann Sir Winston from 01.
I was kind of hoping to be able to rubbish the Behike as all hype so I wouldn't have to bother trying to buy them. I still think there's a lot of hype there, and I'm not crazy about the big-ass ring gauges, but I will probably look for a box in the future. I think they're a long way from reaching the potential that they're hyped at, but some age might turn them into pretty damn good smokes.
The Sir Winston was amazing as always. Good smoking day.
