probably not. Maybe 2010 vs 2012, but 2007 is long enough ago that trickle down from the higher tier groups would probably have occurred.
Weigh up what the cost of replacing those parts vs new group is?
Shifters: £90
chain: £25
block: £35
bb: £30 ?
new cables: £30 (depending what you want)
Is just over £200.. vs £400 for new group?
