A small price drop - down to £175. Just saw a (restored) Peugeot PS-10 in slightly prettier condition, but with inferior components go for £360.
I've owned a PX-10 and PVN-10 and if anything this frame is better built - so seems like a very decent price to me!

NB the paint is metallic beige (aka "champagne") with bronze lug-lining as opposed to plain beige.

Its a fair price IMHO...........I recently sold a Barry Hoban in 531 with full Campag chorus for £300....that too was a fair price for a wonderful bike that rode like a dream..
Stick it out........it should sell for that.Yours might be 531 as well..........

Thanks for the reassurance!
The reason I thought Tange is that if it was 531 they usually would have stickered it.
Tange just didn't, and still doesn't have the same caché, so wasn't always stickered - despite the fact that many of their tubesets are right up there with Reynolds/Columbus.

Barry Hoban "Tour de France"
58cm seat-tube (c-t), 58cm top-tube (c-c) lugged steel frame with good clearances and eyelets for mudguards and/or rack.
I believe it was built by Falcon/British Eagle in the late '70s
There's no indication of the tubing material on the frame, but judging by the seatpost size, weight (reasonably light), and the materials used in contemporary Falcon/BE frames, I think it's Tange Champion chromoly.
The lugs look identical to the plain Nervex ones on a PX-10, so I expect that's what they are.
It's a very neatly constructed frame and rides very nicely.
The decals are quite tatty but the paint is smart - a few small marks but no scrapes, dents, cracks or structural issues of any kind.
A really nice looking bike as-is and I expect replacement decals could be sourced.
Equipped as follows:
**Shimano 600 EX Arabesque F+R mechs and downtube Shifters
Shimano 6 speed freewheel
Shimano Tourney Calliper brakes with DEL-800 touring levers
SR Custom 26.4mm seatpost
Selle Italia saddle
SR stem with ITM Special Bars
Sugino Chainset 42t/52t
Lyotard pedals
36h Shimano F+R hubs with Araya Rims, nearly new touring tyres**
All components are in excellent working order with very little wear.
I also have a set of Bluemels silver + blue chromoplastic mudguards that i could include if required.
Bike is in Hove (next to Brighton), I'd prefer collection but could bring to London on Friday or will post for £19.
Viewing welcome, test-riding recommended. Any questions please post below.
£165 Dibs then PM please.
