That Aende is really, really nice - my size too! How difficult would it be to get it set up fixed?

You might get away with a magic gear, otherwise go with a White Ind. eccentric rear hub.

Are Aende frames still seen as a good name?

Get out.
Hi everyone,
I’ve just sorted out three track frames and a rather nice Aende lo-pro. Shipping on frames within the UK will be £11 - other items can ship free of charge in the same box. I can ship anywhere in the world at a reasonable cost.
ALL ITEMS ARE IN BRISTOL
Unless specifically described I do not guarantee headsets or BBs which are fitted to frames. With all frames I can fit headsets or BBs - headset fitting costs £12; please see my latest headset thread:
http://www.lfgss.com/thread53572.html
for details of what is available.
Payment can be via bank transfer (preferred), cheque or the dreaded Paypal which costs me 3%…
** If you dib an item, please PM me and pay the same day unless you make other arrangements with me. Otherwise it may well be sold to the next person who wants it...**
Viewing/Personal collection is welcome as quite a few have found and have been able to get other parts they are looking for at the same time.

NEIL ORRELL TRACK FRAME Reynolds 531
Seat Tube (ctt): 20.5in (52cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 20.5in (52cm)
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: 700C/sprints
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
This is a rather nice Neil Orrell track frame with good tight clearances. The paint is scruffy but the frame is otherwise very sound. The front fork is not drilled for a brake but the seatstay bridge can be fitted with a brake... Excellent value at £145.
BILLY JONES TRACK FRAME Nice period proper track frame
Seat Tube (ctt): 21in (53cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 22in (56cm)
Rear dropout width: 110mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C with brake drop of 52mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
I do not know anything about the builder, Billy Jones, but this is a well constructed pure track frame from the late 50s or 1960s. The top tube tube has a small dent but this is of no real consequence – it does not affect the frame alignment and will not affect the strength. The paint is rather poor so is a good candidate for a good powder coating job. £145
NONAME TRACK FRAME Reynolds 531 double butted
Seat Tube (ctt): 21.5in (55cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 21.5in (55cm)
Rear dropout width: 110mm
Wheel size: 27s or Sprints/700C with brake drop of 60mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
Seatpost size: 26.8mm
I do not know who built this frame – it has many similar characteristics to a Claud Butler but the frame number is definitely not a Claud. It has been rather nastily powder coated and has a smallish top tube dent which won’t affect the frame. £125
AENDE LO-PRO FRAME c1989 Columbus SL 700C
Seat Tube (ctt): 24in (61cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 23.5in (59cm)
Rear dropout width: 128mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C with brake drop of 42mm
Frame tubing: Columbus SL
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
This Aende is a rather unusual large lo-pro frame which takes 700C wheels front and rear. The frame is in excellent condition and the paint only has a few small not obtrusive marks. Rear dropouts are semi-vertical meaning that it would be possible to use it fixed though a great deal of care will be needed to select chainwheel sprocket size to get a correct chain length. £195
